Broccoli doesn’t appeal to everyone. Like Brussels sprouts, it’s one of those infamous vegetables that kids love to hate and adults feel obligated to eat.

How to Make The Creamy Broccoli Pasta

Follow the directions on the pasta’s package and cook it in a big pot of water.

Chop the broccoli, garlic, and onion. If you use frozen spaghetti, it will even chop reasonably nicely.

Broccoli florets that are frozen should be placed in a pan with some olive oil, water, and a lid to defrost more quickly. Add the onion and garlic.

About five minutes on medium heat! Make sure the broccoli is al dente; if cooked past that point, it will become tasteless and soggy.

Gets that creamy sauce cooking right now! Mix in the cream cheese after adding it, then add the vegetable broth gradually.

While adding the broth, keep an eye on the mixture; if it seems runny, stop! Don’t worry though; once we add the cornstarch mixture, everything will delightfully “cream up.”

Add the cooked pasta to the broccoli cream mixture after draining. Add the red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper after stirring.

A teaspoon of honey is a fantastic addition to improve the flavoring.

Place the spaghetti with broccoli on a plate and top with feta cheese crumbles, olive halves, and sunflower seeds. You might even go above and beyond and toast the seeds.

Health Benefits

Broccoli contains notable levels of vitamin K, A, B1, B2, B3, B6, fiber, iron, and zinc.

These all aid in preventing cancer, improving cardiovascular health by decreasing cholesterol, supporting the digestive system, and delivering antioxidants!

You can get protein from broccoli and cream cheese together, which is essential for a balanced diet.
