Ingredients For BLT Pasta Weight Loss Salad Recipe

  • Six oz uncooked rotini pasta, about 2 – 3 cups
  • Two cups  iceberg lettuce,  chopped and dry
  • One and a half cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • Eight oz bacon, baked and chopped
  • One-third cup red onion, finely chopped

For the Dressing salad

  • One-fourth cup of Ranch dressing
  • One-fourth cup of sour cream
  • Half cup mayonnaise
  • Two garlic cloves, chop up
  • Three Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • One-fourth tsp sea salt according to taste
  • One-fourth tsp ground black pepper or according to taste

  1. Cook pasta according to the given instructions, drain the pasta and rinse under cold water, set aside to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for the dressing and whisk until creamy.
  3. In a  salad bowl, add the cooked pasta, chopped lettuce, halved tomatoes, cooked bacon, and chopped red onion and mix.
  4. Just before serving, add the dressing to taste and gently mix until combined.
