Although we have never held back when it comes to proclaiming our unwavering love for chili, it is not without risk due to its high sodium content and reliance on fatty ground beef.
Use lean ground turkey and add spices and a little chocolate to enhance the flavor.

How to Make The Turkey Chili Recipe
In a big pot, warm the oil over medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic together for about 5 minutes, or until the onion is transparent.
Cook the spices for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, or until they are quite fragrant, before adding the cumin, oregano, chili powder, cinnamon, and bay leaves.
When the turkey is no longer pink, add it together with the tomato paste and mix it with a wooden spoon.
With each tomato squeezed between your fingers so that it is still chunky but not entire, add the chocolate, beer, chipotle, and tomatoes.
For 45 minutes, simmer over a lower heat.
Salt and pepper the beans and then incorporate them.
Try it; if you prefer your chili hotter, add some of your favorite spicy sauce or cayenne pepper.
