Ingredients For the Croutons Recipe
- Half French Baguette, cut in 1/2 and thinly sliced
- Three Tbsp any cooking oil/olive oil
- One tsp minced garlic, Two small cloves
- Two Tbsp grated cheese
Caesar Weight Loss Salad dressing
- Two small garlic cloves, minced (one tsp)
- Two tsp dijon mustard
- One tsp soya sauce
- Two tsp fresh lemon juice
- One and a half tsp red wine vinegar
- One-third cup of olive oil
- Half tsp sea salt according to taste
- 1/8 tsp black pepper, plus more to serve
For the Caesar Weight Loss Salad:
- One large romaine lettuce, (or Two small heads of romaine)
- One cup cheese, shredded or shaved

How to Make Croutons
- Preheat oven to 350˚F. Cut the baguette in ½ lengthwise through the top of the baguette then slice diagonally into 1/4″ thick pieces. Place the bread onto a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine Three Tbsp virgin olive oil/ cooking oil and One tsp of finely minced garlic. Sprinkle the garlic oil over the croutons and sprinkle the top with two Tbsp grated parmesan cheese.
- Toss until evenly coated. Spread in a single layer over the baking sheet and bake at 350˚F until lightly golden and crisp (ten minutes), or to desired crispness.

How to Make Caesar Weight Loss Salad Dressing
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together garlic, dijon, soya sauce, lemon juice, and red wine vinegar.
- Slowly drizzle in virgin olive oil while whisking constantly.
- Whisk in half a tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper, or season to taste.
How to Make Caesar Salad
- Wash, dry, and chop or tear the romaine into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large serving bowl and sprinkle generously with shredded cheese and cooled croutons. Drizzle with caesar salad dressing and toss gently until lettuce is evenly coated.
